The other day I found myself comparing...
my outsides to an attractive woman at the conference I was attending. She was attractive, self confident and full of vibrancy and I had a twinge of jealousy followed by a twinge of not being enough. Ah! But then I remembered I am enough. But how did I do that? OK, here are 3 little steps to use the next time you find yourself in this situation (which happens as frequently as a bus stop for some.) Try this: 1. Accept her vibrancy as your own. I challenge you to breathe in her beauty and and say, “I am ‘that’ beautiful” (inside and out). 2. Find your reflection and greet yourself like your best friend would. Smile at yourself and say, "You look good." Even if your hair is lopsided and frizzy - you look good! 3. Then release the remaining insecurities away and thank the universe for reminding you of your sense of humor and beauty inside and out. Love and Belly Laughs, Kelly |
